Decision Day is Quickly Approaching!
May 1st is Officially College Decision Day, the deadline by which students must make their final decisions about which school they will attend in the fall. Deposits must be submitted and all paperwork completed by this day, so make sure that you are (1) closely analyzing financial aid packages, (2) examining the offerings of your top schools and the departments to which you applied, (3) taking the time to visit the campuses of (at least) your top three schools so that you have first-hand knowledge of what campus life might actually be like, (4) talking to current college students about their experience at the school. All of this information will help you to make a an educated decision about which school will be the best match for you. In the meantime, make sure you are completing at least ONE scholarship each week!
As the new year begins, College and Career Pathways is actively seeking new volunteers who are interested in making a significant difference in the lives of the students we serve. There are a number of ways you can help:
- Grant Writers
- Career Mentoring
- Board Committee Volunteering
- Board Membership
