Volunteer Your Time
College and Career Pathways is always in need of dedicated volunteers to help at the main office, to provide tutoring and mentoring to students, and to assist with special events. If you are interested in volunteering with College and Career Pathways, please complete our volunteer form by clicking here.
Become a Career Mentor
Our Career Mentorship program is an integral part of our career exploration and development work, but is not time intensive for our volunteers. Career Mentors simply agree to have their name and contact information placed on our resource list and to be available to answer questions from students if they express interest in the mentor’s field. Once a match is made, CCP Advisors help students prepare questions and set up a phone meeting with the Mentor to obtain information about the industry and the Mentor’s individual position. The Mentor would then agree to be available by phone or email if the student has additional questions. Interested individuals should complete this form.
Host a CCP Career Connections Job Shadowing Day
College and Career Pathways, Inc. provides job shadowing opportunities for students through our Career Connections Experiences. Organizations interested in hosting a Career Connections Experience will work with a CCP staff person to develop a program for one or more students designed to provide a tour of your organization and a hands on activity and/or presentation describing the industry, the role the organization plays within that industry, and position that students could potentially obtain within the field. CCP accepts both in-kind and monetary contributions from our individual, corporate, and community partners. All contributions are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law.
