BIOGRAPHIES:

Tashana Anderson-Tenille
Tashana Anderson-Tennille comes to the CCP Board with 14 years of counseling experience, ranging from the medical field, to human services, and currently the field of education. Mrs. Anderson-Tennille earned her undergraduate degree in Psychology from Hampton University, and her graduate degree in Urban Education/Guidance from Norfolk State University. She is a member of Delta Kappa Gamma Honor Society International for Women Educators. Currently, Mrs. Anderson-Tennille works as a Retention Advisor for Morgan State University’s Earl G. Graves School of Business and Management, where she has the opportunity to pursue her passion for guiding and supporting youth through higher education.

Dr. Wendell D. Hall
Dr. Wendell D. Hall is an associate director for the Advisory Committee on Student Financial Assistance with the U.S. Department of Education. He earned his doctoral degree in Education Policy, with a concentration in higher education, from the University of Maryland. Prior to joining the Advisory Committee staff in March 2009, Dr. Hall worked at the University of Maryland in various departments, including the Office of the President, the Academy of Leadership, and Academic Achievement Programs. Before entering the field of higher education, Dr. Hall taught high school science for three years in Montgomery County, Maryland. He received his master’s degree in Secondary Science Education from The George Washington University, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Hampton University.

Emily High Daniels, Esq
Emily High Daniels heads the Technical Wealth Solutions Team at Keel Point, a shared family office in Tysons Corner, VA. Ms. Daniels has over nine years of experience working with high net worth individuals and families in the areas of estate and gift tax planning and compliance and charitable giving. Prior to joining Keel Point, Ms. Daniels was with the wealth management firm Brighton Jones in Seattle, WA, and an associate attorney in the Trusts & Estates Practice Group of King & Spalding, LLP in Atlanta, GA. Ms. Daniels holds a B.A. in English Arts from Hampton University, and her J.D. from Columbia University School of Law. She is a member of the State Bar of Georgia and the Northern Virginia Estate Planning Council. Ms. Daniels has also served on the Board of Directors of Seattle Education Access, a college access organization serving students in Seattle, Washington, and is a graduate of the United Way of King County’s Project LEAD.

Camille V. Harris, MPH
Camille V. Harris, MPH is a program manager at the Association of Reproductive Health Professionals. Ms. Harris is an experienced educator and manager, having developed and implemented an award winning teen pregnancy prevention program for Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Washington. She has also worked for Upward Bound, Concerned Black Men, The Women’s Collective and The Quality Education for Minorities Network providing HIV/AIDS and STI prevention education to youth and adults. Ms. Harris also brings to CCP her valuable experience serving on boards throughout the community. She currently is a member of the board of ClancyWorks Dance Company, and previously served on the boards of Big Learning and YoungLives DC. Ms. Harris holds a Master of Public Health degree from The George Washington University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Hampton University in Virginia.

Rev. Dr. Charlene Hendricks
Rev. Dr. Charlene Hendricks brings to the CCP Board of Directors a wealth of knowledge of and experience with starting and running a non-profit organization. Rev. Hendricks developed and served as pastor of a church in Charlotte, NC for nine years, where she grew church membership two to 125. Throughout her working career, Rev. Hendricks has worked in service to her community and has a passion for helping families, particularly children and youth. Currently, Rev. Stewart serves as Minister of Outreach and Evangelism at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church in Charlotte, NC where she continues her work aimed at helping those who are in need spiritually, emotionally and physically.

Rev. Stewart earned her bachelors degree in nursing from Howard University, her masters degree in nursing from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, and her doctorate of ministry from United Theological Seminary in Ohio.
